GOSSETT, Donald A., 90, of Bethesda, Ohio died Friday, October 12, 2012 at Emerald Pointe Nursing and Rehab.

He was born July 27, 1922 in Oco (Union Township), Ohio, son of the late John Paul Gossett and Martha Belle Lyle Gossett.

Donald proudly served his country in the United States Army during World War II, as a Sergeant in Company B, 35th Infantry. He worked as a dairy farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Evelyn Pauline Conley Gossett, who died October 24, 1972; sister, Martha Marie Gossett; and brothers, Lyle, Walter “Dutch”, and Gerald Gossett.

Donald is survived by his children, Dennis (Carolyn) Gossett of Bethesda, Ohio, Gayle (Robert) Murphy of Flushing, Ohio, and Donald (Diane) Gossett of Avella, Pennsylvania; 13 grandchildren; 14 great- grandchildren; and two step great-grandchildren; sister, Ella Hardman; and brothers, John and William (Marcella) Gossett; and sister-in-law, Violet Gossett.

Friends may visit, Monday 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Kelly Kemp Braido & Patron Funeral Home, 322 North Main Street, Bethesda, Ohio. Pastor Ted Buehl will be officiating.

Interment will follow at Union Cemetery, Morristown, Ohio.
