DILLON, Richard, 57, of Narrows Road, Rayland, died Wednesday, March 6, 2013, at East Ohio Regional Hospital, Martins Ferry, Ohio.
He was born April 5, 1955, in Charleston, Massachusetts, son of the late Thurman and Minnie Bell Pratt Dillon.
Richard was an employee of Swisher International in Wheeling and a marine veteran. He was a Presbyterian by faith and very talented in building and mechanics. He also enjoyed, fishing, four-wheeler riding and motor cycle riding.
He is survived by two sons, Ryan and Justin Dillon of St. Clairsville, Ohio; four brothers, Thurman, Tom (Sarah), Robert (Cathy) and William Dillon; four sisters, Sharon (Harold) Brenner, Joyce (William) Eisnaule, Mary Turvey, Edna Dillon; and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
Friends will be received to pay tribute to Richard and celebrate his life Saturday 3 p.m. until service time at 7 p.m. at the Borkoski Funeral Home, Tiltonsville, Ohio with Rev. Tom Thomas officiating.
Full military honors will be conducted Saturday at 6:30 p.m. by the Belmont County Council of the V.F.W. at the funeral home.
