Double Talk?

Dear Editor,

To the people that support Obama whether he is right or wrong should see the other side. Some people do not like to be lied to and deceived time and time again.

When George W. Bush was President the Congressional Record shows that then Senator Obama said this: “I rise today to talk about America’s debt problem. The fact that we are here to debate raising America’s debt limit is a sign of leadership failure and our governments reckless fiscal policies.

Senator Obama went on, “over the past five years, our federal debt has increased form $3.5 trillion to $8.6 trillion and yes, I said trillion with a “T”.

It’s hard to believe that Obama chose those words just seven years ago, because now his administration has racked up another $6 trillion in debt and yes I said trillion!

And yet this year, he demanded Congress raise the debt limit without conditions, in other words giving him an open check book.

And what about the Sept. 11 attack against a U.S. diplomatic mission in Benghazi, Libya that was covered up and then lied to us?

And the leaked plan of a draft proposal for an immigration overhaul?

Then there is the on-going scheme to take God and religion, on which our country was founded, out of the schools, state and federal government. But we have no problem supporting the Muslin Brotherhood with frequent contributions.

Then there’s the 11 million illegal immigrants he wants to take care of when we can’t take care of our own people. We do not have enough jobs or housing for our own American citizens. We have homeless and hunger.

The Department of Health and Human Services Inspector General released information the taxpayer funded Medicare program paid more than $91 million from 2009 to 2011 for medical services for illegal immigrants. They are already cashing in our benefits which they have not worked for or invested in.

Senator Tom Carper (D) of Delaware and chairman of the sub-committee on Federal Financial Management said the improper payments for people who are clearly not eligible for medical benefits is unacceptable.

With their green card they are entitled to go to our colleges free, while our American youth have to pay tuition and pay back student loans.

What about the American citizens?
