T-L readying ‘100 Things’ edition

MARTINS FERRY – If you listen long enough, you will inevitably hear someone complain that they are bored because there is nothing to do.

This problem is not unique to the Ohio Valley. No matter where you travel, there will always be people who believes that they live in an area lacking in entertainment.

Here are The Times Leader, we know there is a plethora of exciting opportunities just waiting for Ohio Valley residents to experience.

And we’re going to show you just what’s out there.

May 19, The Times Leader will publish its annual ‘100 Things to Do’ special section. The title covers the publication’s premise.

We’ll show you that there are, in fact, a number of things to do. We’ll tell you when they are and how to take advantage of them.

Opportunities will be broken down into categories, such as: Sightseeing, recreation, lakes, cultural activities, festivals, entertainment and sports and fitness opportunities.

Some of these are free. Some are not. All are easily accessible, located within, at most, a couple hours travel time. All are ready and available for Ohio Valley residents, and those beyond, to come and take full advantage of.

There’s plenty to do in the Ohio Valley and The Times Leader is going to show you.

Any one or group that would like to make sure their favorite activity, event or locale is added to the list is invited to email your information to news editor Mike Hughes at mhughes@timesleaderonline.com for publication.
