River sweeps Caldwell

Homestanding River swept Caldwell Tuesday evening inside the R.L. Potts Gymnasium by scores of 25-16, 25-22 and 25-23.

The Lady Pilots were led by sophomore Jensen Caretti, who ahd 12 points, 18 kills and seven blocks. Monica Curtis donated 13 points, 22 assists and four aces. Mackenzie Wade had 20 points,while Mackenzie Marshall had 13 points, three aces and two kills.

St. Clairsville

Blitzes Bellaire

At Bellaire, St. Clairsville posted a sweep of the host Big Reds Tuesday evening on Guernsey Street by scores of 25-22, 25-10 and 25-16.

St. C. was led by Rebekah Sadlowski, who had five points, 14 digs and four kills. Brigee Mick added seven points, three aces and 16 kills. Megan Teater added 12 points. Emily Smith had 10 kills and six points. Alexis St. Clair donated 20 assists and nine kille, while Brooke Robinson went for 13 digs.

Bellaire was led on the stat sheet by Tori Duffywith eight points and seven assists. Mary Garloch had seven points and five assists. Hunter Eden went for five points, three kills and 10 digs.

Shenandoah Blows

By Barnesville

At Barnesville, the visiting Zeps had an easy time of things with the host Shamrocks, winning by scores of 25-12, 25-19 and 25-15.

Layna Broomhall led the Shamrocks with seven points, six assists and five digs. Paige Huntsman added five points, 10 digs, eight assists, four kills and a pair of blocks.

Toronto Nips Harrison

At Cadiz, the visiting Red Knights prevailed in five sets by scores of 25-23, 25-17, 22-25, 17-25 and 15-3.

Jesse Ledger had 11 digs and seven kills. Katie Stackhouse added 13 kills and 15 assists.
